Ever since my high school art teacher gave me a handout with the design process on it, I have always found myself drawn back to it, but I never quite discovered what it was I really wanted to do.
After moving to Norway and learning the language to find work - while also becoming a parent to two smart, beautiful girls, I decided it was time to find out what that something was. At that point in my life, I wasn’t in a position to commit the time or finances required for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, so to dip my toes in, I enrolled in a part-time UX Design course at Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media. Since then, I’ve been hooked.
I love the diversity of UX Design, talking and chatting with users or stakeholders one minute or being immersed in a prototype the next. I love the way user testing reveals patterns and seeing how that evolves through the design process, into a product.
I'm currently studying UI design at UX Design Institute and will shortly be completing their AI fundamentals course too. As a newly educated designer I am looking for a role where I can grow and learn - with a dose of humour along the way!
