Ever since my high school art teacher gave us a handout with the design process on it, I have always found myself drawn back to it, but I never quite discovered what it was I really wanted to do.

After moving to Norway and learning the language to find work—while also becoming a parent to two smart, beautiful girls—I decided to explore the world of UX. At the time, I wasn’t in a position to commit the time or finances required for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, so I enrolled in a part-time UX Design course at Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media. Since then, I’ve been completely hooked.

I discovered I love the diversity of UX Design, there are so many variables at play. I love the way user testing reveals patterns and I love working on details one minute and zooming out to see the whole picture the next.

As a newly educated designer I am looking for a role where I can grow and learn. My ultimate goal is to work for a company that aligns with my values and produces something meaningful.
