Ever since my high school art teacher gave us a handout with the design process on it, I have always found myself drawn back to it, but I never quite discovered what it was I really wanted to do.
After moving to Norway and learning the language in order to get a job, as well becoming a parent to two smart, beautiful girls, I decided to dip my toes into the world of UX. I didn't want to commit to an expensive bachelor or masters programme without knowing it was something I was committed to first, so I signed up for a part-time course in UX Design at Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media. Since then I have been hooked.
I discovered I love the diversity of UX Design, there are so many variables at play. I love the way user testing reveals patterns and I love working on details one minute and zooming out to see the whole picture the next.
As a newly educated designer I am looking for a role where I can grow and learn. My ultimate goal is to work for a company that aligns with my values and produces something meaningful.
